Currently work as a freelance translator of Japanese to English and interpreter of both language combinations. My background includes a 15-year career in Japan teaching and lecturing. Since returning to the United States, I have been extensively involved with legal and technical translations relating to intellectual property litigation for the past 12 years and have also testified as an expert witness regarding linguistic aspects of patents.

I specialize in patent translation but have a broad range of translation capabilities from business correspondence to scientific data.
