My mother tongue is English and I have native fluency in Japanese combined with a very thorough knowledge of the Japanese culture from having resided in Japan for nearly 20 years. I have been living and working in the U.S. for the past 12 years.

My area of translation expertise is patents and other legal documents in addition to technical documents such as experimental data, engineering reports and utility models. I also do a great deal of translation in the medical field. My document review and translations pertaining to intellectual property have been instrumental in winning several of the cases mentioned in my resume. I also have contributed articles to a local newspaper column pertaining to education in Japan and America.
